Job Overview

We are seeking a smart, energetic, and self-motivated business development professional with 9+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, and Account Management in the travel industry.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Account Management:

    • Build and manage B2C channels to secure and stabilize functional outcomes.
    • Develop and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  2. Competitive Intelligence:

    • Gather and analyze detailed competitor insights to inform business strategies effectively.
  3. Product Development Collaboration:

    • Work with internal teams and external partners to develop mutually beneficial products for customers, ensuring shared success.
  4. Market Analysis & Stakeholder Communication:

    • Conduct market analysis and communicate valuable insights to internal stakeholders.
  5. Intra-team Management:

    • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Recon, CX, Product, and Growth) to ensure the best flight booking experience for clients.
  6. P&L Ownership & Growth Strategy:

    • Take full responsibility for P&L and lead growth strategies for B2C channels.
  7. Product Requirements and Execution:

    • Collaborate with the product team to define and lead the execution of product requirements for airline/GDS suppliers.
  8. Issue Escalation and Resolution:

    • Proactively escalate internal team issues and continuously work towards effective solutions.
  9. Travel Functionality & Product Support:

    • Oversee travel functionality, product support, and integrations, including conducting pilot testing before and after implementation.
  10. Industry Standards & Best Practices:

    • Develop and promote industry standards and best practices for effective product usage.
  11. Issue Tracking & Analysis:

    • Track issues, raise IR/tickets, and monitor them for further analysis and resolution.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 9-10 years in business development, partnerships, or account management roles, with 5-6 years of experience in the travel space.

  • Skills:

    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with key partners.
    • Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
    • Proactive attitude with a strong inclination to take action to achieve business goals.
    • Creative thinking and the ability to conceptualize strategic campaigns to drive growth and partnerships.
    • Strong attention to detail, particularly in implementing company initiatives.
  • Additional Requirements:

    • A keen interest or willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
    • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical skills and expertise in managing business numbers.
