About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant with 3-5 years of experience in SQL, SSIS, Python, and PySpark to join our team. You will be responsible for building scalable interfaces, optimizing performance, and implementing data cleansing and validation strategies. This role involves working with large-scale data processing and integrating diverse data sources.

What You’ll Do

✅ Advanced Execution & Data Management

• Oversee and manage complex project tasks, focusing on data ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing.

• Analyze and interpret customer data, ensuring a clear understanding of technical and functional requirements.

• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of end-to-end data flows.

• Design and build data ingress/egress pipelines, handle large volumes of data, and develop data transformation functions using SSIS, Python, PySpark, SQL, and related tools.

• Integrate various data sources, including Teradata, SAP ERP, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, and flat files via API or batch processes.

✅ Production Deployment & Hypercare

• Support production deployment tasks and assist in issue triage, testing, and root cause identification.

• Ensure timely resolution of batch automation issues to meet customer SLAs with accurate and on-time results.

✅ Technical Leadership & Code Oversight

• Guide and review code developed by junior consultants, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices.

• Implement o9’s ways of working and incorporate industry standards for efficient project execution.

What You Should Have

✅ Experience & Education:

• 3+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms.

✅ Technical Skills:

• Languages: Hands-on expertise in SQL, SSIS, Python, and PySpark.

• Data Integration: Experience with Parquet, JSON, RESTful APIs, HDFS, Delta Lake, and query frameworks like Hive and Presto.

• Workflow Management: Proficiency with Airflow, SSIS, or similar tools.

• Database Knowledge: Strong experience working with relational databases and SQL query authoring.

• Version Control: Experience with platforms like GitHub or Azure DevOps.

• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile project delivery frameworks.

✅ Soft Skills:

• Proactive Mindset: Ability to embrace agility, learn quickly, and adapt to new challenges.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

✅ Bonus Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with Delta Lake.

• Exposure to Supply Chain Planning applications.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
