Role: AI/ML Consultant – Content Moderation & Safety

We are developing a community-driven platform (Community Connect) and are committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and trustworthy environment for our users. To support this, we are seeking an experienced AI/ML Consultant to design and implement a robust AI-powered content moderation system (text & image) aligned with community guidelines.

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled AI/ML Consultant with hands-on experience in building and deploying content moderation models, using LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT) and Computer Vision for detecting policy violations in user-generated text and images.

Location: Remote

Experience: 2+ years

Per Hour Rate Pay: Rs.800 to Rs.1200

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and structure community guidelines into machine-understandable moderation rules.
• Evaluate and implement OpenAI (or equivalent) APIs for: ○ Text moderation (hate speech, abuse, spam, misinformation)
• Image moderation (nudity, graphic content, extremist symbols)
• Design a scalable AI moderation pipeline integrated with our backend.
• Fine-tune or prompt-engineer LLMs for context-aware decision making.
• Build logic to auto-flag, auto-reject, or escalate content based on risk level.
• Help estimate cost, performance benchmarks, and fallback strategies.
• Advise on ethical AI use, data privacy, and mitigation of false positives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML/NLP or related fields.
• Proven experience with OpenAI APIs, Google Vision, AWS Rekognition, or similar services.
• Strong understanding of computer vision, LLM prompt engineering, or fine-tuning.
• Experience in developing moderation tools or safety layers for user-generated content platforms is a big plus.
• Proficiency with Python, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based deployment.
• Ability to translate policy guidelines into algorithmic rules or prompt flows.
• Familiarity with data labeling, feedback loops, and human-in-the-loop systems.

Nice to Have

● Experience working with Indian language content.

● Exposure to platforms like Kutumb, ShareChat, or Reddit moderation systems.

● Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., IT Rules 2021 – India).
