Job Summary:
Houston Talented Consultancy is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Virtual Bookkeeper to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Accurate Financial Records: Keep accurate financial records for clients, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accurate financial data.
- Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Process Payroll: Handle payroll processing and ensure timely tax filing.
- Invoicing and Payment Management: Manage invoicing and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Tax and Compliance Support: Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to address inquiries and provide financial advice as needed.
- Software Assistance: Help clients set up and maintain bookkeeping software.
- Management Reports: Prepare financial reports for management to support decision-making.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of financial records and uphold the highest level of integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Accuracy: Strong attention to detail and precision in financial record-keeping.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent Work: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other related tools.

Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, ideally in a remote environment.
