Job Description

As a Content Editor at Koimoi, you will play a critical role in ensuring our content is accurate, engaging, and error-free. You’ll collaborate with the editorial team to deliver high-quality entertainment content while maintaining our brand’s voice and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

✍️ Editing & Proofreading:

• Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.

• Ensure zero-error content is published.

• Maintain consistency in style, tone, and language across all articles.

???? Content Quality Control:

• Verify the factual accuracy of content and implement necessary corrections.

• Perform thorough checks for typographical errors and formatting issues.

• Suggest revisions to improve content quality and readability.

???? Collaboration & Publishing:

• Work closely with writers and the editorial team to deliver quality content.

• Publish proofread articles on WordPress (training will be provided).

• Stay updated with industry best practices and the latest editing trends.

???? Entertainment Knowledge & Workflow:

• Understand the context of entertainment and pop culture content.

• Manage high daily volumes (average 300-500 words/article or more).

• Prioritize and deliver within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills

✅ Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience as a Proofreader in media, entertainment, or online content.

• Experience with entertainment content is a bonus.

???? Skills & Competencies:

• Expert-level written and spoken English with impeccable grammar.

• Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in using editing tools like Grammarly.

• Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
