Key Responsibilities

• Network Infrastructure Management:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of network infrastructure.

  • Create and update technical documentation for internal support and client presentations.

• Network Design & Implementation:

  • Drive detailed network design documentation and migration strategies.

  • Responsible for the design, building, and fault-finding of network solutions.

• Network Configuration & Installation:

  • Configure and install network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS.

  • Provide technical support for WAN, LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, wireless, and network security.

• Network Maintenance & Support:

  • Perform regular network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations.

  • Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.

• Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Provide Level-2/3 support to resolve network-related issues.

  • Respond to alerts and tickets generated from monitoring systems or customer requests in a timely manner.

• Security & Compliance:

  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the security team.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing Network Security, Firewall, and TCP/IP protocols.

• Vendor Liaison & Service Management:

  • Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.

  • Perform duties as operations specialist during shifts to ensure SLA/OLA compliance and avoid breaches.

What You Need to Know

• Systems and Server Administration:

  • Administer systems and servers related to LAN and WAN for service availability (email, accounts, workstation IDs, IP assignments, computers, security, etc.).

• Technical Understanding:

  • Good understanding of Desktop OS, Server OS, Remote Working methods, and their integration with other systems.

  • Basic knowledge of other IT infrastructure areas (e.g., Windows OS, Client Systems, Directory Systems).

• Networking Expertise:

  • CCNP or CCNA certification is a plus.

  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.

• Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
