Our new Interior Designers: What are we looking for?

We are currently on the search for our new interior design team members to join our already established team of designers not only in our Delhi office, but our broader APAC interior design team! Interior design is critical to our projects, and we want talented team members to bring their expertise and passion to some of the world’s most amazing projects within India, and across APAC! On the back on some amazing project wins and a very long pipeline of future work planned, we are looking to continue to build our capacity in this critical part of the business.

Specifically, we’re looking for our future interior designers to:

• Prepare interior design concepts working with team members, developing design briefs and collaborating with other members of the project design team.
• Effectively communicate and discuss ideas with the project design team.
• Develop and prepare design presentations to communicate the ideas and story to clients, communities, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate within small to large teams in developing construction documents using Revit software, according to established standards and technical requirements.
• Demonstrate high level technical skills, particularly in the areas of coordination, management and the ability to bring designs from concept to reality.
• Excel at working both independently and as part of a team, while being the interface with our clients and our internal architectural teams.
• Possess the ability to coordinate tasks and deliverables within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Utilise knowledge and experience of working with vendors and suppliers in the local market.

Further to this, the type of people we’re looking for are those with:

• At least 5-7 years’ experience succeeding within a similar role at an Architecture firm.
• Strong Revit skills and capabilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Interior design, Architecture or similar.
• Knowledge and/or experience of Interior Design delivery on large infrastructure projects.
• Creative thinking and innovation in all areas of the interior design process, including the creation of design concepts, storytelling, being in touch with current trends and products.
• A self-driven work ethic and the ability to meet fast paced project demands while working with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, initiative and problem solving while working as part of a team is essential.
• Collaborative skills in leading, communicating concepts and design details, guiding and delivering outcomes for projects.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the organisation.
• Excellent people skills who can interact positively with others while delivering on work.
• A high level of written and verbal communication skills which support your success in both internal and client presentations.
• The ability to take designs and move them into documentation by providing very clear and concise guidance and instructions to team members.
• Strong sketching and freehand drawings skills to communicate construction details and materials integration.
