Role Overview – Software Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and secure software architectures for SCIEX’s cutting-edge products.

????‍???? Key Responsibilities:
✔ Lead software architecture design ensuring stability, security, and scalability
✔ Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
✔ Work with cross-functional teams across time zones (North America, Europe, and Asia)
✔ Implement Agile development processes to drive on-time, high-quality software delivery
✔ Develop software requirements based on product needs
✔ Investigate and troubleshoot system and software issues, providing innovative solutions

???? Ownership: Take responsibility for the success of projects and key decisions
???? Collaboration: Work closely with technical leaders, stakeholders, and executives

Required Skills & Experience

???? Education & Experience
✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
✔ 13+ years of experience in software design & development

???? Technical Expertise
✔ Hands-on experience in enterprise system architecture & backend development
✔ Strong coding experience in:

• C#, .NET Framework 4.5+
• WCF, WPF
• ASP.NET (MVC, Razor, Blazor)
  ✔ Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL
  ✔ UML Modeling & Diagramming Tools: Enterprise Architect, MS Visio
  ✔ Profiling & Debugging Tools: dotTrace, NProfiler
  ✔ Build & CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, TeamCity
  ✔ Software Design & Architectural Patterns

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points!)

✔ Cloud Expertise: AWS or Azure
✔ Messaging Systems: MSMQ, REST, SOAP, gRPC
✔ Distributed Caching Solutions
