???? Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer II – C++ to join our C++ development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building customer-facing features for TV and set-top applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery in a professional team environment.

You will be part of an agile team, working on feature development, bug fixes, and system enhancements while collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones.

???? Key Responsibilities

✔ Feature Development & Code Quality

• Develop frontend applications and embedded device software using C++.
• Work closely with team members & managers to plan feature sprints.
• Maintain high-quality coding standards with a strong focus on test-driven development (TDD).

✔ Collaboration & Communication

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
• Work independently on medium-sized features with guidance from senior developers for complex tasks.
• Communicate effectively to understand product requirements and priorities.

✔ Technical Expertise & Innovation

• Use Git/GitHub for source code management.
• Apply software development best practices (coding guidelines, architectural patterns).
• Rotate follow-the-sun support to monitor and debug critical production issues.
• Stay updated on new technologies and trends in C++ development.

???? Required Qualifications & Skills

✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
✔ Experience: 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in C++ for frontend applications or embedded software.
✔ Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in C++ development.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and software design patterns (MVVM, MVI, SOLID).
• Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) & associated frameworks.
• Ability to write scalable, resilient, and testable code.

✔ Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Android app development or embedded device programming.
• Prior exposure to VOD (Video-On-Demand) platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of mass-market digital products and global scaling (60+ countries).
