Role Overview: POS Product Support Analyst

We are looking for a POS Product Support Analyst to provide technical support for Infor customers using the Infor POS product. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical aptitude, excellent English communication skills, and customer service expertise.

As a POS Product Support Analyst, you will:
✔ Offer seamless remote support to customers in Canada, Americas, and Europe
✔ Work closely with customers to resolve technical issues following internal procedures
✔ Continuously improve technical product knowledge
✔ Work in rotational shifts as per business needs
✔ Maintain confident communication with customers globally
✔ Meet or exceed monthly individual and team goals


Key Responsibilities

???? Transition smoothly to live support after product training
???? Provide technical assistance for POS software & hardware systems
???? Follow department policies & procedures for effective troubleshooting
???? Deliver high-quality customer service to resolve incidents
???? Collaborate with teams and customers across different regions
???? Stay updated on product knowledge & best practices


Basic Qualifications

Experience (2-4 years):
✔ Work experience in hotel industry (Front Desk or F&B Service departments, preferably F&B Service)
✔ Exposure to hotel operating software (PMS/POS systems)

Technical Skills:
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
✔ Experience in Windows desktop OS (Windows 7/10/11)
✔ Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, static IP, subnet masks)
✔ Experience with peripheral devices (receipt printers, barcode scanners, credit card terminals)
✔ Understanding of SQL databases and queries

Education:
IHM, IIHM, BHM, or equivalent degrees

Language & Communication:
Fluent English (verbal & written)
Strong customer service skills

Work Schedule:
✔ Willing to work night shifts as per India time

Industry Experience:
✔ Preferred work experience in reputable hotel groups such as:

  • Taj, Oberoi, Sheraton, ITC, Ramada, Accor, Marriott, Hyatt, The Leela, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Previous experience in Point of Sale (POS), restaurant, or hospitality
⭐ Technical certifications in Networking, SQL, Operating Systems, CompTIA A+
⭐ Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow, etc.)
