Job Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Electrical Schematic Design:

  • Design electrical schematic diagrams using CAD tools like E3, AutoCAD, or other similar CAD/smart tools for control cubicles, including 2D/3D designs of high voltage breakers, capacitor banks, disconnectors, battery energy storage systems, and other HV-related products (>66kV).

• Review and Preparation:

  • Review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), security systems, and trip logic of clients/partners.
  • Generate Bills of Materials (BoM) for modules and items, assign part numbers using SAP coordination, and review schematic diagrams and 2D/3D drawings before presenting them to clients.

• Technical Support:

  • Provide guaranteed technical specifications for various high-voltage products.
  • Address technical queries from clients during project execution, if needed.
  • Support cross-functional teams like SCM, project management, and quality to understand client requirements and specifications.

• Collaboration and Client Interaction:

  • Work closely with local installation and commissioning teams, providing support to understand client drawings and offering technical assistance.
  • Coordinate with clients, resolve queries, and ensure that engineering drawings are approved on time.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like E3, AutoCAD, or similar tools for electrical design.
  • Knowledge of US/North American design standards (IEEE) is a positive factor.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong technical interest and creativity for developing ideas and solutions.
  • Ability to apply a long-term perspective to your work and maintain strong relationships with clients.

• Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with teams and clients effectively.
