What You'll Do:

As an Onboarding Senior Expert, your primary responsibility will be to work across multiple client onboarding project teams in a hands-on technical capacity. You will focus on data preparation, migration, and reconciliation of both conditional and static data. The key responsibilities include:

  • Gaining a clear understanding of complex asset structures and relevant organizational records to gather requirements for data migration.
  • Performing data migration audits, reconciliations, and exception reporting.
  • Supporting testing activities related to the validation of migration processes and data.
  • Collaborating with systems and data management teams to ensure internal controls are implemented and data integrity is maintained.
  • Providing status updates, identifying risks, and communicating progress to the project team on an ongoing basis.
  • Quickly grasping new concepts and applying them in day-to-day work.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Being proactive in problem-solving and introducing creative solutions to clients and the team.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work independently under pressure.

Key Requirements for this Role:

  • Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience in the financial industry.
    • Strong understanding of private equity is an additional benefit.
    • Experience working with relevant accounting standards (e.g., US, UK, Lux GAAP) is desirable.
    • Proven experience in data migration and reconciliation.
  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Strong knowledge of advanced Excel functions such as IF statements, SumIFs, etc.
    • Familiarity with PowerBI, SSRS, and FIA is ideal.
    • Knowledge of GL accounting is a plus.
    • Ability to define and document solutions and processes.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to decision-making.
    • Experience managing internal stakeholders and influencing change at a senior level.
    • Capable of preparing reports and presenting them clearly.
