We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to firewall installations, network security configurations, and troubleshooting efforts. Responsibilities

✔ Firewall Installation & Maintenance

• Physically install and connect firewalls and security appliances.
• Install the latest vendor-approved stable firmware.
• Monitor firewall status, document findings, perform root cause analysis, and generate reports.

✔ Network Configuration & Security

• Create and manage virtual firewalls with appropriate configurations and policies.
• Configure remote access VPN and site-to-site VPN functionality.
• Set up firewall interfaces, access control lists, routing, and policies following best practices.
• Implement next-generation firewall (NGFW) feature sets.

✔ Integration & Troubleshooting

• Integrate firewalls with Camstar and other custom MES systems.
• Work with Ivanti Pulse Secure and other Juniper products.
• Support out-of-band connectivity devices and log collectors.
• Configure SIEM integration for enhanced security monitoring.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on Juniper SRX and Palo Alto products.

✔ Technical Support & Case Management

• Collect and analyze packet traces to recommend corrective actions.
• Stay updated on technical documentation, bulletins, and release notes.
• Manage customer communications, escalations, vendor RMAs, and case resolutions.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).

✔ Availability & On-Call Support

• Be available for after-hours support or participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Ideal Candidate

???? Education & Experience
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in Juniper & Palo Alto firewalls as a Network Security Engineer.
✔ 1 year of experience in Manufacturing or Operational Technology environments.
✔ Experience in a technical support role within a networking/security company.

???? Technical Skills & Certifications
✅ Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and L2/L3 switching.
✅ Expertise in security technologies: firewalls, IPSec, IDS/IPS, anti-spam, virus scanning.
✅ Experience working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux.
✅ Juniper JNCIP-SEC certification is required. (JNCIE-SEC is optional but preferred for senior roles).
