About the Role

This position is within the Risk Products & Data Strategy team as an Analyst – Data Governance and Management in the CFR Federated Data Office. The primary objective is to ensure compliance of CFR data with AEMP70 (Enterprise Data Management Operating Policy) and AEMP79 (Enterprise Data Risk Management Policy), along with other relevant data-related policies.

???? This role involves risk data management, governance, compliance, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure data integrity and regulatory adherence.


Key Responsibilities

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Execute and facilitate Data Risk Management & Governance requirements as per AEMP70 and AEMP08 policies.
  • Ensure CFR data compliance through collaboration with policy owners, enterprise governance, and product teams.
  • Streamline data deletion and retention processes, support data sourcing/usage requests, and measure Data Risk Metrics.
  • Confirm that Data Risk levels are well-managed and aligned with enterprise policies.

Risk Management & Analysis

  • Partner with CFR Data Stewards, Data Custodians, and Operational Excellence teams to remediate Data Risk Issues (including OREs).
  • Conduct QA/validation checks and validate Data Risk levels of CFR data.
  • Perform impact analysis, root cause analysis, and deep dives on identified Data Risk issues to drive prioritization.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Create communications and presentation materials for executives and regulators.
  • Establish solid relationships and communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth risk governance operations.
  • Bring external best practices in-house to enhance the risk management framework.

Qualifications & Skills

???? Education & Experience:

  • Graduate or postgraduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Risk Data Management, or Risk Management.

???? Technical & Functional Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of Data Governance principles and Credit & Fraud Risk Strategy.
  • Familiarity with AXP systems and processes.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships, influence others, and drive collaboration.
